All account information is provided to the tax offices by the Appraisal Districts. The tax offices (water district, school, county, etc.) do not have the authority to process exemptions, delete accounts, lower values, etc. unless official paperwork is received directly from the Appraisal Districts. Any name or address change made by the tax office is only temporary, unless the Appraisal Districts are notified. Tax bills are mailed to the owner of record as provided by the Appraisal Districts.

The account number on the tax statement is the Appraisal Districts’ account number.
